INDOxyz Hotels

Located in Nusa Lembongan, INDOxyz Hotels is a beachfront hospitality project shaped by the island’s tropical coastal character. With a site area of 2,259 sqm and a total building area of 2,671.41 sqm, the design responds to its surroundings through a contemporary tropical approach that connects architecture, landscape, water, and the beach.

Our intention was to create a seamless relationship between indoor and outdoor spaces, allowing guests to experience the natural qualities of Nusa Lembongan throughout their stay. The courtyard becomes the central point of the project, surrounded by contemporary architectural forms, generous openings, and lush tropical landscaping. The building massing is carefully positioned to maximize views across the site, particularly toward the beach, while maintaining a clear sense of privacy and comfort.

Functionally, the project is organized through distinct zoning and circulation. The beach club and suite areas are separated to provide different experiences for guests while ensuring smooth operational flow. Each space is carefully planned to accommodate both functional requirements and aesthetic considerations.

Material selection was equally important to the design. Inspired by the local surroundings, we explored materials and textures that reflect the character of Nusa Lembongan. Local materials, natural finishes, concrete, and timber are combined to create a simple yet distinctive architectural expression. In response to the coastal environment and local regulations, selected areas are designed as raised or semi-permanent structures, using construction techniques suited to the beachfront setting.

Ultimately, INDOxyz Hotels is an exploration of how contemporary tropical architecture can respond to place—creating a hospitality destination that feels connected to the landscape, the coast, and the unique character of Nusa Lembongan.
