The Plantation Resort

This Tropical Resort design collaboration with Studio JAJ is located on Anyer Beach, Banten. The main highlight of this villa is that guests can enjoy direct views of the afternoon sunset right from the swimming pool. Capitalizing on Anyer's coastal landscape, the resort complex features several standalone villa units alongside supporting hospitality facilities designed to maximize guest comfort. The development comprises four units of Pool Villas and eight units of Lofts, where each unit spans two floors and offers two bedrooms. The masterplan layout utilizes strategic landscape placement to maintain utmost privacy between units.

Given its unique setting, our team focused on two key aspects to imbue the resort with a distinct character. First, we maximized the scenic views of the site by positioning the swimming pool toward lush green rice field panoramas and golden afternoon sunsets, while orienting the rear of the villas toward the serene Perhutani forest. Second, we integrated local materials into the architecture, applying coral stone to the façades and traditional thatch roofing throughout the structures to anchor the design seamlessly to its natural coastal context.
